Magnelis® is a metal coating that is three times stronger than galvanized steel,
which provides exceptional corrosion protection even in
the most aggressive environments.

Produced on a classic hot-dip galvanizing line, Magnelis® uses a galvanizing process with 3.5% aluminum and 3% magnesium. This chemical composition creates a stable and durable layer that provides excellent corrosion protection on the SODECA equipment body, thus guaranteeing perfect wear protection and effective surface and edge protection.

The use of Magnelis® contributes to the conservation of natural resources and the environment, given that it uses less zinc than galvanized coatings. Magnelis® is 100% recyclable, does not contain harmful elements and complies with the REACH regulation, i.e. the protection of human health and the environment from the production and use of chemical substances and mixtures.

In addition, it contains an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) - a report that provides detailed information on the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle.

Magnelis® offers long-lasting corrosion protection for SODECA equipment housings compared to the standard galvanized coating used until now, thanks to its special composition of 3% magnesium and 3.5% aluminum.

Under the influence of the environment, the zinc component of Magnelis® forms a dense and durable patina, unlike conventional galvanizing. This protective patina also forms on edges, welds, perforations and scratches, thus covering any area where rust could appear.
Magnelis® protection is virtually impervious to the atmosphere, providing complete protection of the structure.
In addition to the protection provided by zinc, Magnelis® contains magnesium to create a thin film that prevents corrosion along cut edges. Almost impenetrable protection, which, thanks to its zinc, aluminum and magnesium coating, ensures maximum durability and makes it almost 4 times lighter.
