Winterwarm introduces the DXC heater, a completely new heating concept specifically designed for use in poultry houses.

This technology is based on a heating concept that has been successfully used in the industrial market for several years. The DXC is an indirect heater (60-80-100 kW) with a closed combustion system. Heating according to this concept means no CO2 or water vapor is released into the house. This has two important effects: reduced energy consumption, as less air is required for ventilation, and increased productivity per growth cycle due to lower disease and mortality rates due to a drier environment.

Calculations show savings of up to 25% on energy costs! The DXC was designed with the harsh conditions found in poultry houses in mind; the heater must withstand aggressive environments and numerous cleaning cycles. Therefore, the housing is constructed entirely of stainless steel, the heat exchanger is easily accessible through three panels for cleaning, and the control chamber is protected from splashes. The burner process is very stable, as it uses outside air for combustion. Therefore, the heating element is less susceptible to malfunctions.
