G Series Precision Air Conditioners

Application:

G Series precision air conditioners are units specifically designed for use in large data centers.

When designing air conditioning equipment for large data centers, the need to route cables and distribute the enormous amount of air required to cool servers led to an increase in the raised floor height to 600-800 millimeters. This creates sufficient space beneath the air conditioner for the installation of a plinth base. 

The large space beneath the raised floor is designed to accommodate the supply air fans. Consequently, the air conditioners are supplied in two separate sections: 

• A processing unit with an enlarged heat exchanger, filters, and electrical panel.
• The lower section (base plinth) contains the supply fans and is installed under the raised floor. The height of the plinth and fans must correspond to the dimensions specified by the customer.

The two sections are supplied separately and are easy to install on-site, as only wiring is required for the two air conditioner junction boxes and the base plinth.

Specifications:

• Direct expansion models offer cooling capacities from 60 to 180 kW
• UGA: with bottom air discharge
• Chilled water heat exchanger models offer cooling capacities from 140 to 300 kW
• UGU: with bottom air discharge
