The engine is outside the airflow
The MPS series was developed specifically for harsh operating conditions in kitchen exhaust fans. The working motor is separated from the air flow in accordance with VDI.
Radial fans with backward-curved blades offer a double benefit
The operation of radial fans with backward-curved blades is not affected by grease contamination. In addition, the impeller efficiency is higher here, which significantly reduces the operating and investment costs for the control transformer.
Various outlet nozzles
By moving the door hinges, you can also arrange a horizontal air outlet.
- Ambient temperature up to 120 °C
- Motor located outside the air flow
- Rotation speed control
- Folding fan housing
- Water and grease drain
The casing has a special shape and a drain pipe.
Technical information
FAN:
- The centrifugal fan is designed for use in kitchen hoods;;
- The housing is made of galvanized sheet steel, with 40 mm thick mineral wool thermal and acoustic insulation, and has easy-to-open inspection doors on which the motor and electronics are installed;
- The use of a hinged housing makes it easy to clean the inside of the fan;
- The housing is designed to facilitate the drainage of condensate from the inside of the fan through a 3/4 drain (provided that the fan is installed with the outlet facing upwards; in addition, the installation must be equipped with appropriate filters and grease traps);
- The set includes rubber vibration isolators and support brackets for easy installation;
- The dynamically balanced fan blades are tilted towards the rear and made of galvanized sheet steel;
- The shape of the blades ensures that they are not sensitive to grease deposits, which do not affect the operation of the fan;
- In addition, a fan with backward-curved blades is more efficient than impellers with forward-curved blades with similar operating parameters. This results in lower energy consumption.
ENGINE:
- Three-phase (400 V, 50 Hz, IP55, insulation class F) asynchronous electric motor, located completely outside the flow of exhaust air;
- The speed of models with three-phase motors (3x230Δ / 3x400Y) can be controlled using frequency converters only in the frequency range specified in the selection chart/graph;
- If three-phase motors are connected directly to the mains, they must be protected by circuit breakers with built-in short-circuit and overload protection;
- Maximum operating temperature ambient temperature: 40 ÷ 80 °C - depending on the model selected, average temperature: 120 °C.
