GP series - floor heaters (heat generators, hot air generators) of vertical design for outdoor installation, designed for heating air-supported and frame-tent structures: geodesic domes, tennis courts, gyms, retail premises, etc. Also applicable for heating stationary buildings when air supply from below is required.
The air heater structure consists of an aluminum frame and panels with walls of galvanized steel sheets filled with glass wool for heat and sound insulation.
The outer side of the galvanized steel sheet panel is powder-coated. Inside the heating section there is a steel heat exchange module. Inside the fan section there is one or more double-inlet centrifugal fans with a three-phase electric motor and a V-belt transmission. For safe transportation, the fan section has a metal mesh on one side of the unit. The protective mesh can be removed at the installation site using auxiliary means/tools.
The air heater is equipped with a triple thermostat (a combination of three thermostats located at the top, at the air outlet from the heating section), which provides the following
control and safety functions:- FAN: thermostat with normally open contacts for automatic switching on and off of the fan section in the “HEATING” phase;
- LIMIT (ТW): thermostat of the maximum temperature of the burner with normally closed contacts and automatic reset. Automatically turns off the burner in case the temperature of the heated air significantly exceeds the set temperature, safe for further operation of the heat exchanger;
- LIMIT2 (STB): thermostat with normally closed contacts and manual reset. Automatically turns off the burner in case the temperature of the heated air significantly exceeds the limit provided for by the safety limit in accordance with the regulations. Its value is set by the manufacturer at 100°C and must not be changed to avoid serious overheating of the air heater.
The fact of the operation of the LIMIT (ТW) thermostat indicates overheating or insufficient cooling of the heat exchanger module. The activation of the LIMIT2 (STB) thermostat means an even greater deviation from the normal operation of the air heater. Before manually restarting the LIMIT2 (STB) thermostat, a qualified specialist must identify and eliminate the cause of overheating.
